The DISI Project</br> Digital Innovation for Social Inclusion

The DISI Project
Digital Innovation for Social Inclusion

The phenomenon of social exclusion due to poor literacy skills is quite alarming with respect to the European population, but it becomes dramatic if we consider the typology of migrants arriving at present in Europe. Most of them have very low literacy skills, thus limiting their possibility of integration and their exercise of citizenship rights, with evident risks for the security within society. The DISI project is focused on the use of ICT to support teaching and learning methodologies for illiterate immigrants and refugees to learn the language L2 of their hosting country.
